Our environmental solution allows us to recommend BS product treated with the ESC coating into applications where normally only materials in stainless steel are accepted.

What is ESC?

ESC is an "Environmental Synergistic Coating" developed specifically for aluminum to solve critical wear and performance problems plaguing aluminum parts. The material surface is chemically treated and converted into an aluminum oxide, which gives a very hard, ceramic surface finish.

The oxide layer is then impregnated and coated with a polymer. ESC coatings combine the hardness of aluminum oxide ceramic with the desirable properties of selected polymers to give aluminum parts previously unattainable levels of hardness, wear and corrosion resistance.

  • Eliminates sticking. Perfect for washdown.
  • Never peel. Coating is impregnated into the substrates of the surface material.
